"A Simple Task" is a song I've had in pocket for a long time. It's an ode to Gordon Lightfoot that I decided to work up and record following his death. The song is based around a simple A-minor chord progression (I guess) and I trick I lifted while learning to play "Ballad of Yarmouth Castle."

"Traveling Time" is one of several new songs written specifically for this project (so, there's more to come?). It has some '50s rock-n-roll underpinnings that might not be obvious and a Pixies thing that wasn't at all intentional, until it was.
